Browser does not maximize

Have you tried dragging the borders of your browser
window out to the edge of your screen? Need to do that
while it is "Maximize" mode, then see if it sticks that
way when you next start IE.

The thing is that it does not leave the task bar, it just
stays there and nothing helps.

There is no option for me to drag anything...

Help?!

I'd be very interested in hearing how you fix this. I've been having similar
problems. The only difference is that I *can* maximize, but cannot select
the "Restore" option, it's grayed out. Whenever IE is started, most of the
time, it's shows up on the taskbar and I have to right-click and select
Maximize to see it.

Patrick,

Take another look at that right-click menu and think about it.
Restore is greyed out because the window is in its normal mode.
What else can you do with normal mode windows besides
Maximize and Minimize them? Hint: chances are that you
also see Move and Size commands there which are not greyed
out, meaning that they would do something for you if you clicked
on them...

Good luck
