Browser refuses to let me visit my Hotmail email

I have a laptop that recently started giving me a server error when I try to
visit my Hotmail. I can get to the Login page, I can even login and view my
My MSN page, but even if I click the Hotmail link from my My MSN page it
gives me a server error. The only other page I have noticed a similar error
on is the Microsoft Update page after clicking the Custom button. I am able
to do searches, visit pages I have never visited before, it even tells me if
I enter an invalid username/password combination, so I know that I am
connecting to the internet. I do not have these problems on any other
computers, and would like to know what the problem is (I am assuming it is
on my machine since I do not have it on any other machines of mine). Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That is information that I will definitely like to keep handy for the
future, but my problem was not about clicking a link. My problem is with
logging in to view my mail period. When I go to http://www.hotmail.com/ and
try to login, it does not take me any farther than the login page (it will
tell me if my login is incorrect, but it will not take me to my emails).
Hopefully this makes it clearer what my problem is. Thanks.

Well, in case you had not heard, Microsoft is closing down
Hotmail. So you may as well move on to another e-mail
server while you have the opportunity.

I have read about changes to Hotmail, but if I understood the stuff I have
read correctly they are not closing it down, they are simply going to redo
the site and call it by a different name (I think it was going to be part of
the www.live.com site). But even if they were going to "close it down" I'm
sure they would give a large amount of warning time, and they haven't sent
any emails to members about it yet, so I'm not worried.

If you are blocking third party cookies, check the list of blocked third
party cookies for one related to Microsoft and delete the block. Or, just
clear the list of all blocked third party cookies and try again.

I the past, when I have had a problem getting past the Hotmail sign-in page,
I find that I have msn.com on the block third party list. You may be
blocking msn.com or some other third party cookie that Hotmail needs.

No, but I am sure that if you did a search for stuff such as Hotmail,
live.com, MSN, updates, and some other keywords you could find something. I
believe I read about it in several articles that there were links to from my
My MSN page, so I don't remember exactly what pages they were. Sorry about
that.

No problem, Nathan. Just thought you might have some links handy. The
problem with searching for something like this is to find a way to
narrow the search so that it isn't impossible. (A Google on "Hotmail"
for instance gives 58 million hits :) ) Thought I'd check with you first.
