Hotmail Login problem

I am able to use msn instant messanger but I am not able
to access my hotmail account from my computer. When I try
to open my hotmail the page comes up "The page you are
trying to visit has generated an error". Can anyone out
there help me. I have XP Professional installed on my
computer.
