Browser is redirected only for some sites

I have a client that is experiencing web page redirection when trying
to access previously viewed sites (aol, usaa, etc..). It seems the
unaccessible sites were in her history and a spyware or virus component
redirected these links. The redirection site just shows as she
described it "Greek" lettering with an email link for
(e-mail address removed).

She had a major spyware/virus infestation I had cleaned up a couple
weeks ago but something is left over. I have run Spybot, clean the
history, cookies, delete the temp files, delete offline files, delete
Temp internet files, remove all of the trusted sites, check the
restricted sites, and a couple of other things. These haven't resolved
the problem.

This problem also occurs when using FireFox (not relevant to the forum
I know), anyway it doesn't matter if you manually type the site in the
address bar, use google, or try linking from another site, it always
comes up with the redirected page for specific sites.

Thanks for the help,

Chad

Thank you both for the help,

It seems Zone Alarm needs to be uninstalled before SpyBot should be
run. If it is done in this order the browser issue will be resolved.

Thanks again,

Chad

Also turns out the host files need to be deleted, just thought I'd post
for anyone else's reference.
