Browser hijack

Every time I run MS anti spy it advises that I have a
hijack browser problem. I repair it, the message says it is
repaired yet is comes back immediately.
Tried to restore hijacked internet browser, goes right back
to where it was.
I'm running Firefox. Could this be the cause?

Go to Tools > Folder Options > View Tab and enable show hidden files. Go to
C: Documents and Settings > Username (yours) > Local Settings > Temp, empty
that folder. Restart your computer in Safe Mode and do a full system scan
and try restoring the browser settings again, also before you enter safe
mode, disable system restore from the properties of My Computer > System
restore tab.
