Hi.
I have a user experiencing an unusual problem that I
cannot mimick on my machine, even when I open the template
he is using. We are both using Windows XP with Office 2003.
My user created a Word template that contains form fields.
Each form field has a unique bookmark name. He has been
using the template for a few days with no problems.
However, today he went to change a bookmark name and
clicked ok, then returned to the bookmark properties and
the bookmark name was gone. (The form field itself is
still there, but the bookmark name is empty in the
properties.) Other bookmark names that had not been
changed are also disappearing.
The even stranger part is that: 1. When the fields are
populated, the bookmark name, although not visible in the
properties, is still recognized and the field is correctly
populated. 2. When I open the exact template on my
machine, the bookmark names are all there.
Any ideas?
