bluescreen error

My computer shuts down over and over with a bluescreen error my windows
diagnosis box says that it has to do with the audio system. I have tried
going into my event viewer and fixing the problem but couldn't fix it. Is
there anything else i can try on my own to fix this problem?

Can you boot to safe mode and run the machine stably?
If so can you roll back system restore to a point before problems began?
Barring that simply uninstall your audio drivers and see if that solves the
problems? Ditto the video drivers.
Random blue screens of increasing frequency usually means hard drive or
power supply failure.

Hi,

If you're positive it is the audio, then the best thing to do is to update
the audio driver software using a download from the manufacturer's web site.
