Is there an easy way to avoid this "blocked content" message just for html
pages that I wrote and I'm trying to open on my own hard drive?
I don't want to change the settings to remove the message for regular
internet.

Just give it the extension HTA instead of HTM or HTML or MSHTML or XHTML.
HTH.

Thanks, I believe that will work. I should be able to mark them all with
the company web site name.
