BLANK PREVIEW PANE

In Movie Maker 2.1
I can: Drag and drop from the collection pane to the preview pane andi it
shows both sound and video.

If I try running a project from the timline or storyboard, I can hear sound
but do no see any images in the preview pane.

I am having the same problem and it is driving me nuts any help out there?

This is a common symptom of trying to use MPEG video files in Movie Maker

Hi Matt
I just gave up. Removed nero which I was using for burning, and bought Ulead
Video Studeo 10 which does everything all in the one package ( and more).
Cost $AUS200 and I have not looked back.
