blank page at the end of a document

I've got a document that I keep getting a blank page at the end. I've tried
the suggestions in http://home.earthlink.net/~wordfaqs/BlankPage.htm but
still get a blank page. Are there other suggestions or hints?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Open the document, hold the Ctrl key and press the * key. this will show all
the hidden / none-printable symbols and they should be visible on the blank
last page. Position the cursor at the end of these symbols and hold the
Delete key to blank this unwanted last page once and for all. Then click Crtl
+ S to save it. BB
