Model of the drive in question?
Removed it from Device Manager and rebooted to have it re-added?
Is it setup to record?
When was the last time you recorded with it?
Not so. A blank CD should appear in Windows Explorer. If I click on the
drive, it says, "please insert a disk into drive D" when a blank CD-RW has
already been inserted.
oops
yes mine is doing the same thing on work laptop xp and home desktpop vista
maybe the office update fubared it up. well if i copy and paste id leave
snip-it to show u but it says no disk. Ive tried 3 different cd-rw one s that
i wrote stuff on are recognized but i dont have one that is a cd-rw there
cd-r.
