XP doesn't recognize my CD/DVD Burner

I have a Lenovo T61, running XP with SP3. In Explorer, the drive is
recognized as a "DVD-RAM Drive" and not as a "CD-RW/DVD Drive" which it used
to be. "CD Recording on this drive" is checked. And I can burn stuff to a
blank cd. The pain is that every time I put a blank CD in, Windows Movie
Maker starts in auto start, and I need to wait for it to boot up, then shut
the program down, as I almost never want to run that program. Since XP
doesn't recognize this drive as a CD-RW, there is no "Blank Disk" option
listed in the auto play options, so I cannot change what the computer does
when a blank CD is inserted. This is very frustrating! Any help would be
greatly appreciated!!
