I've gotten many an error message in attempts to play
Black and White. I've visited EA Tech Support and they
were unable to help me. I've tried just about any
possible compatability offered by XP with no successful
results.
Recently, my curiosity may have saved me. I checked the
technical data that the error report sends to Microsoft
just because I could. I discovered in it that Black and
White finds the OS of Windows NT on my system. I am
indeed running XP and have never touched NT in any way.
This I am positive is the problem with running B&W on XP.
Now, the reason for this post is that I'd like to know if
there is any way possible to 'hack' or just change B&W to
think that it's running on XP, ME, or 9x. If not, am I
correct in my suspicion through observation that XP
supports multiple OS's on one system? Such as... I could
install my version of Win95 that I have onto... say... my
D drive, reboot my system into 95, and then play my
game...? If I can do this, I'm completely unsure how, and
would apreciate help in doing so.
Thank you very much!
