Backgrounds in the Display Properties

How do you get rid of some backgrounds in the display
properties when you want to change your desktop
background. The default wallpaper is in there and some of
the ones i downloaded, but alot of pictures and stuff
automatically go into this and it is getting really full.
I don't know how they got there and really will never use
them for wallpaper. Is there a way to delete them?

Make a new folder in your My Documents folder (not in My Pictures) and
put your pictures there. When you download pictures from the Internet,
you have a choice as to where to save the files - save them in the new
folder you made instead of the default My Pictures.
