back button

Hi

some websites have small javascript functions which stop the browser back
button from working. So if I click my way on to such a website I can't go
back again.

I think this is really annoying.

Is there anyway in internet explorer to allow general javascript functions
to work BUT to ignore javascript attempts to disable the back button?

Thanks
Peter

It appears that IE6 cannot do this... Firefox appears to be able to - but
then Firefox has other drawbacks... damn.
