AVG Anti Virus Removal

I recently downloaded two files from Kazaa and one contained three
worms which my AVG Anti Virus program says are "healed OK". The
program seemed to perform this operation automatically. Can anyone
shed some light on this please? Does this mean my computer is safe
now?
