I keep receiving the followng error messages every few minutes. "Error in
Winsock Module" "Connection Structure Unknown" ... Make sure that
"services.exe" can connect to the internet." There are two other programs:
csrss.exe and smss.exe that receive the same msg. I use a DSL router with a
fire wall, but my other computer configured the same as this one, has no
problem with connections. I even un-installed my Symantic anti-virus
software and re-installed it. While it was un-installed the same msgs
appeared, but the live-update quit working the same time these msgs appeared.
Re-installing the software did not clear that problem either. Windows XP
SP2 Firewall is disabled.

I have determined that my PC has been infected with the Sober.P worm. I have
manually removed the three files: services.exe, csrss.exe, and smss.exe from
"C:\windows\Connection Wizard\Status" as well as cleaned up the RunOnce
registrary in the
HKey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ and
HKEY_Local_Machine - same location. It was necessary to step the machine
back to a previous restore point. Machine is working again. Thanks
