Automatic Updates

Hi Mt dell has been working well untill the last lot of updates were
downloaded. I clicked on the Install Upgrades icon in my system tray, and I
got an error message that memory could not reference a location - file
svchost. - and then the computer locks up.

i have tried rebooting; starting in safe mode and installaing upgrdaes one
by one, but still the same lockup

Anyone any ideas please?

KB935448 (graphics vulnerability) is a prime suspect. There is a replacement
available from MS.
