automatic reboots

my computer automatically reboots every few minutes. no
matter what i'm doing, it just closes all the programs,
shuts down and restarts every 2 to 3 minutes. i can start
the computer in safe mode. what could be causing this and
how would i correct it?

i forgot to add that i receive no error messages when this

Right click "My Computer">properties>advanced>startup and recovery - uncheck
"Automatically reboot".

You should get a blue screen with an error at the next occurrence. Write
down the error message and repost.
