shut down windows 2000

when i go to start push shut down and shut down the
computer it shuts down and then reboots automatically.
how do i stop this from happening?

having same problem, need some help with it my self

You didn't install roxio by any chance LOL.

If you uncheck automatically reboot in right mouse, my
computer, properties, advanced, startup and
recovery....you may get a screen telling of the problem.
