attachment blocked by outlook

I had recieved a couple emails with attachments (.exe )
about 2 months ago i opened them and then saved them to a
personal folder. I went back today to get them and they
are not there. the message was there and it said Outlook
blocked access to this potentally unsafe attachment.
Where is it? did outlook delete it? I know it wasn't
unsafe i had already opened it. Can i retrieve these
attachments?

A registry entry lets you customize the list of blocked files in Outlook
2002. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm#ol2002 for
links to info and tools. That page also lists the options available for
earlier versions.

If you're the administrator in an Exchange Server environment, you can
change the file blocking with administrative tools. See
