Attaching files to tasks?

Hi,

We recently upgraded to Outlook 2003 from 2000. One of my users likes to
attach shortcuts to files to task items. We can't seem to figure out how to
do this in 2003. The attachment options are: Insert, Insert as Text, Insert
as Attachment and Insert as Hyperlink. What happened to Insert Shortcut?

The feature is no longer available, but you can substitute a hyperlink to the
file for the shortcut icon. Use this format:

file://c:\foldername\filename.ext

If there are any spaces in the file path, surround the whole hyperlink with
angle brackets (< and >).
