ATI X800 Pro not happy with ABit Motherboard

I just bought an ABit AN8-V motherboard and an ATI X800 Pro video card.

When I install the video card, the MB stalls at post code 04.

I tried an old S3 card and that works. However, when loading Windows
XP, the system gets a blue screen after loading the file Mup.sys (This
is the last system file loaded before going into Windows on my PC).

Windows still loads fine with my older PC on the same hard drive.

I am using Corsair XMS3200C2 (2 x 512 Mb) RAM and Athlon64 3000+ CPU.
Only a 20 Gb Seagate HD is being used at the moment.

Can anyone offer any help?

Did you do a Repair Install of Windows XP after adding the new
motherboard? After that make sure that you load any drivers for the
motherboard then update Windows XP. Finally add the new video card and
drivers.
