Well, it was a play on words. If a desktop user finds more use from
Linux then Windows then great! However the 90%+ mark is a fact that can
not be ignored.

do not qualify. You are nowhere near skilled enough to be a linux freak.

Dear Tiberius,

your Roman ancestors would be proud of you to stand up and speak the truth!
I fully second your findings and hope that soon PC manufacturers give
customers a choice of XP or Linux pre-installed.
We are severely suffering from all the XP - Vista network interoperability
problems, which you find in other threads.
I wish everyone would report his problems here, so perhaps MS would wake up
to reality and put this monster on ice until they can make it at least
compatible with XP and give me a boot switch to run in "XP-compatible mode".
Of course their execs will claim that this is all about reluctance to change
and learning, so they should be all put onto a VISTA machine and not receive
any food nor sleep until they have managed to print on a printer attached to
an XP machine.
That would get rid of all of them for ever!
