Archiving

When I do an Archive on my Outlook 2003 and then open it after the
archiving, my inbox and all its' subfolders are empty. Yet, archiving
says it is working.
I would also like to know how to reset all the settings back to their
default condition and is it possible to do it at one time with out
uninstalling and then reinstalling them?

Thanks for any help.

Archiving uses the modified dates of items (not the received dates) to
determine if those items should be archived. Perhaps that's why nothing is
getting archived. Ass the Modified field to the header bar (using Field
Chooser) and see if that's the reason.

All what settings?
