Archived files

Is there a way to UNarchive pst files and re-integrate them BACK into Outlook?

I know that I can OPEN the files into Outlook as a separate archived folder
(by going to File, Open, Data File), but I don't want to do this and don't
want the file to be separate.

I want to unarchive the archived file and re-integrate it back into my
original .pst file. Can this by done?

Please respond to (e-mail address removed). Thanks.

Restore both PST files from backup, or manually move the archived items
back from the archive file (right-click drag-and-drop).

Posting your email address here is not a good idea, as we do not do
email support. However, spammers will happily collect such addresses
with address-harvesting bots.

Hey Pat:

When you say "restore," do you mean "import?"

And, how do I manually move Calendar items?

thanks for the email tip.

"restore" means "open" both at once, then move messages. To move calendar
items, in the calendar you want to move, select View/arrange by/current view/
by category, this will give you a list, then go edit/select all, then right
click them and move to folder

Hey DLW!

Thanks for the info. Worked great. Never knew I could do this.

I did as you said and found that I had a tremendous amount of "junk files"
that I was able to dump.

Thanks again for the assist.
