Am having intermittent problems with applications either not starting up or
they hang and I can't close them down. i.e., Windows Explorer, MS Word,
Outlook Express, Drive Image. I have reinstalled Word and Drive Image, no
change. I have run Dell's diagnostic utility and no hardware problems show
up.
I would rather not have to do a clean install of WINXP Home. Could doing a
Windows Repair install be something to try? I have read somewhere that
sometimes doing a Repair install creates more problems then it fixes.
Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
