Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000034)

When I attempt to open several of my newly installed
programs I get this message "Application failed to
initialize properly (0xc0000034)". Any idea what's
happening? I have Windows XP.

I know it's long,but....copy and past that in your
address bar,it's list fixes for that code,also you may
won't to make sure you have all your updates from windows
updates that sould be in a update fix.
