api to read the information of expansion card

Is there any API function to read the information of
expansion card and API function to notify the application
upon the card insertion and removal ?

In general, operating system notifications are not processed by .NET CF
applications. You should think about C/C++ for that.

What sort of 'information' are you looking for?
