---What makes you think your PC is downloading huge amounts of data?
First of all, I checked with my ISP webpage my download usage found that the
meter showed I had download a huge amount of data.
Then checked with my P2P files, they had been finished a small amount.
ie. Before start P2P, file remaining: 500 MB
After 1 hour, file remaing: 400 MB
But the ISP meter showed I had downloaded 500 MB.
Also I used the freeware to monitor my pc dowload usage during my
downloading last 2 nights and noticed similar things:
In 30 minutes of time, P2P file remaining just reduced by 30 MB, but the
tools showed downloaded usage was 100MB.
So my P2P program put these extra 70 MB into somewhere.
---What P2P program did you install and why did you install it?
I am using eMule.
The REASON I installed this for downloading file, obviously.
---It is generally not okay for your PC to download things you don't know
about.
I know I am download certain files that I chosed
---If you think things are downloading things for no reason or are too
large, getting a tool to monitor it will help you monitor it.
Yes, that's why I am asking here.
