a logical *bad* result would be:

Therefore some kind of "rules" would be advantageous/necessary because
otherwise everybody acts for his own and all will grow very very confusing.
I personally prefer bottom posting because of normally reading from top
to bottom (books, newspapers etc.) and avoid/shorten unnecessary
fullquoting.
Others more than often are too lazy or usenet unexperienced or or and do
fullquoting 100 or more quoting lines only to say "thanks"!
An other terrible usenetbehavior is flooding, missionary, inconsiderate
OT-posting as we can observe these days by Jai Maharaj for example.
