Annoying taskbar buttons!

Once logged on, search assistant and quicklaunch toolbars appear on the
taskbar. Even though I remove them everytime i log on, they are always back
again the next time, and the next, and the next. Can I make them stop from
appearing everytime I log on to my computer?

Quick Launch settings are not saved; Search Assistant Toolbar in Taskbar:

NOTE:
Take care while entering the Userinit registry value. Change the path to
userinit.exe appropriately, if Windows is installed in a different drive. If
you commit any spelling mistakes, or if you type an incorrect value for the
Userinit key, you will not be able to logon to your user account.
