All my contact icons are green?

Chad

It used to be that in my MSN Messenger 6.1 on Windows XP
the contacts that were online had little GREEN icons next
to them and the ones that were offline had little RED
icons next to them. For some reason they are now all
green, even the offline ones! I have totally uninstalled
Messenger, and re-installed. It does not help. Even the
original Windows Messenger version displays icons this
way now. Every other application runs just find with
accurate colors on my system. Changing the video
settings does not affect this phenomenon. Can anyone
help? Thanks!

Greetings Chad,

Have you updated your video drivers recently (from WindowsUpdate)? If so, what you're
seeing is a bug within those drivers, to correct this, you can either "roll back" the
drivers you installed or install an old version of the drivers from here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/pc_winxp-2k_45.33.html

To "roll back" the drivers, click Start, then Run, type "devmgmt.msc", click OK, then
right-click your video card, choose Properties, then Driver tab, and choose Roll Back Driver
to go back to the previous version.
