All add / remove programs not showing

Oops I posted this by mistake on the other one.

Windows XP Home

All of the sudden some of the programs in add / remove do not show. It
looks like everything from A to N is ok. I can scroll another page, but
nothing is there. Also all of the windows updates are gone. I recently
installed a critical update. I do not remember the number, but it was
something about combining updates. I have not questioned the critical
updates in the past. I reinstalled 2 programs that were there before and
the new installation does not show in add / remove. Any idea's how to get
the ones not showing back??? Thanks in advance,

Hi,
scan your system with latest virus definitioned antivirus,adaware as
well as spybot,search & destroy.
Start>Run>type in:appwiz.cpl>ok

try this edit:-Add or Remove Programs Restriction - Undo
