Add/Remove Programs

K

Kryos

Hello Techies,

I have a validated copy of Win XP Home that I've installed twice now on my
machine and both times Add/Remove programs fails to initialize properly. The
only anti anything program I run is AVG Free and I've already tried the White
Space Removal tools.

Every time I open Add/Remove programs it fails to show a list of programs,
nor does it even display the "Please wait, list being populated..." prompt.
I've just got a whole lot of white space with no scroll bars.

Please help,

Jake

I would boot into safemode
and uninstall avg.

its free anyways and you
can install again if you want.

then try your normal mode
again.
