Hi all,

I once had the Alexa toolbar. some thing happend (i dont realy know what)
and it was sort of disappeared, so i uninstalled it as requested. I have
cleaned all the "leftovers" and threads from the comp.
Installed it again, but NADA, it doesnt even show the Alexa in the View-->
toolbar of the IE.

Further more, i found in another place that i shoud remove some reg number
and reinstall it and it will work - nothing!!!

Its winXP pro, IE6.
Thank you!!!

No idea why anyone would want the Alexa toolbar but exactly what did
you find in another place and where?
What was the exact "reg number" you removed?
What ' "leftovers" and threads' did you clean?
Do you have some anti-spyware like Ad-Aware that may keep removing it?

i found removing {69A72A8A-84ED-4a75-8CE7-263DBEF3E5D3} from the registry, by
this site: http://www.upmyrank.com/alexa_wont_install.shtml.

I cleaned (after it wont install) the regisrty fropm the ALX and such
(surely i cehcked that all of them were rekatede to Alexa).
i have Norton Anty Virus, and Lavasoft's adaware. As far as i know, Lavasoft
isnt suppose to block it, only to remove it when i scan.
