alert window problem

Had same problem. In fact, as long as the taskbar is NOT
on the bottom side of the screen, the alert window window
slides straight away.

IMHO it IS a bug (or 'undocumented feature') ;-)

I've said nearly the same thing in a different group--D@nnyBoy isn't the
only one with that thought.

There are two timetables - one for the folks who can't get their hands on
new releases quick enough and the other timetable for people who believe
there is still nothing wrong with DOS 6.22

I'm reasonably sure that the result in the end will be impressive, so I'm

You are imputing that emotion to my writing by using a behavior map you have
scripted in your mind based on previous experiences that do not apply to me.
If I was angry, you would know it.
