after downloading a game

aftr i download a game i cannot see anything the sceen just goes black. i
tried a new video card but i have no where to plug it in. i have a hp
pavilion 7935. it doen't seem we are compatable with anything
we have the new direct x as well.

Hi Patti,

Boot into Safe Mode, log off, then boot back into Normal Mode. If that
doesn't help and it should, boot back into Safe Mode, go to
Start/Run/Msconfig/Boot.ini and check off /BaseVideo and then reboot.
