administrator has prohibited access to usb/1394 mass storage devic

last week i was trying to install a usb camera on a windows xp machine and
the camer drivers locked up the computer. the drivers were removed and now
when the computer starts it gets an error of "administrator has prohibited
access to usb/1394 mass storage devices" and "administrator has prohibited
access to cd/dvd mass storage devices"

Simply tap the F8 key on starting pc,select safe mode,enter xp as
administrator,
in xp,open device mgr,expand the tree for 1394 or similiar,R.click,select
enable,
close out,restart pc.
