Address Bar Search

Every time I try and search using the address bar, it
comes up with the message 'http:///? ' plus whatever I
was searching for and the actual web page says 'Page
Cannot be Displayed'

I have reinstalled Windows ME and upgraded from IE 5 to IE
6.

Can anybody help.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
