Adding new user's password

Apologizing in advance for my remedial question, but I cannot for the life of
me figure out how to ADD a new user and assign them a password to a secured
database. I added them to my groups and gave them their special permissions
and I can click the db shortcut and sign on using their username - but how do
I apply a password to them each individually as I have my original users? I
even tried the wizard again but to no avail.
I thought there would be something I could do under security:user and group
accounts, but the only password I can change is mine (as administrator). I
had read a post from 2005 where the advice was to do all the security stuff
in a form, but I didn't understand the process so it is probably beyond my
capability without step-by-step moron proof instructions. Do I have any
other options?

You can login as the user and use Security, Accounts, Change password tab to set their password - probably easiest for you.
