....I had 2 installs of the same software but different
versions of installed on my laptop. I needed to remove
both of them to add yet a newer version of the same. To
my dismay, I removed the oldest version first using the
Add/Remove program in Windows 2000 Prof and now I cannot
remove the more current installed verions. Because of
this I cannot install the newest version received today in
the mail.
When I attempt to remove the 2nd program I get a "Fatal
error in installation" warning with an option only to
click "OK". I have cleared my registery of all the like
folders for this programs, can anyone tell me if there is
any other way to remove a program from the Add/Remove
Program list without using the Add/Remove Program itself!
