Add or Remove programs

Hi
i have recently installed Windows Xp sp2 version 2002 on my Dell Precision
390. But i am having problems with the add or remove programs. when i go to
control panel, add or remove programs i get nuthin in my list it is totally
empty. Een though i have installed Java, Yahoo, Msn, Gmail, Limewire, and
many oder softwares. can sum1 help me on how i can get the list???

I am not sure why this feature is not working nor do I know a fix other than
for W98 which would undoubtedly not work in XP. You could manually enter
the programs in this registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

but this is more trouble than it is worth. Add-Remove is merely a directory
to the folder that contains the uninstall file for a given program. You
could just as easily go to that program's installation folder and look for
the uninstaller file.
