Add image to outgoing signature without sending .png attachment?

I'm trying to include a logo in signature of my outgoing email. I added a
..bmp image into a text box but now all outgoing mail includes a .png
attachment. How do I get rid of this attachment and keep the logo?

are you sending it as html format? make sure outlook or the mail server
isn't converting it to plain text.
