Adapting XP Firewall

I have a home net work with 2 computers W98SE and XPPro. Iwant to turn the
XP Firewall on so that sharing folders is allways possible. I don't know how
to fill in the Advanced and Exceptions tab of the Firewall. I know the IP's
of both computers

Greetings Mozart,

Open the Windows Firewall (click Start - Run - firewall.cpl), then click the
Exceptions tab. Check File and Printer sharing and then click Ok. There is
no need to enter the ip addresses and once you enable File and Printer
sharing then the Windows 98 computer should be able to access the XP
machine.

Well, nearly ALL boxes in that Exceptions tab were already crossed, but that
didn't work. So I want to read shared folders on the XP computer from the
W98SE machine with the firewall on on the XP computer. If the firewall is
off, I can access the Shared folders with no problem, but that isn't the
purpose.

Greetings
Paul
