Activation

I installed Vista back in January and used the MSDN key that I had. I
recently had to install it again and now it can't activate because the key is
in use. I know all about the new activation PITA with Vista, but I thought
that the MSDN key still let you get around that. Any thoughts? I have 20
days left!

I really don't want to go back to XP. Thanks.

You're allowed ten activations with an MSDN key. Are you the owner
of the MSDN account? If so, just call Microsoft and tell them your
situation. A reinstall is not supposed to take up another activation.
If you're not the owner of the account, the person who is could get in
trouble for giving out the key.

OK, thanks. I didn't realize that MSDN was limited to 10 activations. I'm
not the owner, so I'll have to talk to them to find out what's going on.

Thanks!
