"Action Cancelled" message

Hi All,

Recently Internet Explorer has been putting up the "Action Canceled" message
in place of advertising on some websites. This is a new behavior and has
occurred recently after applying the recent round of Security fixes. The odd
thing is, we have another computer with an identical WinXP setup that has
not had this problem.

I've tried all manner of configs for the security and cookie settings in
'Internet Options', but nothing seems to work.

It's not that I like having the ads, but some websites require them to work
properly. Namely some gaming sites.

The firewall is not the problem, 'Ad Blocking' is turned off.

Mozzila FireFox works OK; so the problem seems to be with Internet Explorer.

Here is the message that is placed:

Thanks Henri for the site info. It solved my problem.

Spybot Search and Destroy had the 'Hosts File' lock engaged and this was
causing my problem.

I have the same problem. I contacted Verizon who administers MSN and had me go through all kinds of excercises deleting cache, cookies, defaults, etc. I have also attempted the work offline mode. I still receive error messages.
