I have a need to setup a PC to read PDF's aloud - any pointers ?
Any public apps / links to do so - voice adjustable ?

Should have stated - I did try V6 and V7 Adobe reader and tried " Read
Out Loud" but the options were greyed out. I turned on Narrator and
rebooting - even if it does work now - I know the default voice is tough
to understand - "MS Sam" - any other info/pointers to update the
voice/speed etc appreciated.

I did try it Chuck, and the voices are good BUT it only works online
(for http pages), so when I tried to do File-Open -
'abc.pdf' I got an error stating that " only good for http..."- won't
read the pdfs

So then I closed the Homepage reader and opened the Desktop Reader ( I
didn't know/see it earlier) and it does read pdf's !

BUT when I tried to open one of their pdf's (they paid to download the
article) I got an error - the voice told me that the security settings
on the documents did not permit "read aloud" . Pretty cool - so the
"purchased files" won't work, but the voice is otherwise great - thanks
very much
