A recordable CD drive was not detected

In my earlier post on this problem I neglected to say my burner works fine
with Nero 6.0. I only get the above message with WMM when trying to record
to a CD.
Tried PapaJohn's suggestion but problem is still the same. Can Nero be
causing this to happen?

Nero shouldn't be causing the problem but if you have any other CD/DVD
burning software installed look to see if it includes a utility such as
InCD. These programs, designed to make a CD work like a floppy disk
"sort-of", often cause problems when other programs try to burn to disk.
Also are you certain it is a CD not a DVD you are putting in the drive?
If you use a blank DVD and click "Save to CD" you will always get this
message.
