A recordable cd drive was not detected in windows movie maker

When i try to burn a picture cd using windows movie
maker it says "A recordable cd drive
was not detected" When in fact i have one... For some
reason the drive is not showing as a recordable drive, so
i installed another burner i had and i get the same
problem!!" When in fact i have one... For some

problem!! I have read the older post and tried some of the suggestions
which were partly helpful. Can someone help me?
